Among the major decisions were mandatory registration for travel agents, amendments to the Transferable Development Rights (TDR) policy and approval of the new Land Pooling Policy 2026.
Under the Haryana Travel Agents Registration and Regulation Rules, 2026, all existing and new travel agents must register their businesses. Separate registration will be required for every office and branch. The rules cover passport services, tour and travel agencies, study visa consultancies and ticketing services. Registration certificates will remain valid for three years.
The Cabinet also amended recruitment rules for Junior Lecture Assistants. Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology. Direct recruitment applicants must be aged 18 to 42 and have five years of laboratory attendant experience.
Under the revised TDR policy, certificate valuation will be based on the average collector rate applicable on the application date.
The Land Pooling Policy provides 50% of the saleable project area to landowners and 50% to development agencies. Eligible landowners will receive interim assistance of 1 lakh per acre annually for four years.
The Chief Minister also said 629 gaushalas had received ₹86.95 crore in grants for fodder and shed construction.
