ED Alleges AAP MLA Fraudulently Transferred Land To Relatives

Moga: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has alleged that a woman Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Moga, Punjab, was involved in manipulating government land records to acquire valuable property. According to the agency’s claims, land belonging to different government and private entities was fraudulently transferred into the names of her relatives.

The ED investigation has reportedly identified five land parcels linked to the Central Government, Punjab Government, a municipal corporation and a religious organisation. The agency alleges that official land records were falsified to facilitate these transfers.

According to the report, the transactions also resulted in compensation of approximately ₹1 crore being obtained. The allegations concern the alleged misuse of land records and the transfer of property through fraudulent documentation.

The ED’s search operation at locations connected to the case continued for approximately 36 hours. The investigation is focused on establishing how the land ownership records were altered, who benefited from the transactions and the circumstances under which compensation was received.

The allegations are part of an ongoing investigation. The claims made by the agency have not, on the information provided, been established through a final judicial finding. Further details about the investigation and any official response from the MLA were not included in the report.
