Dublin: Several major news channels across Europe received bomb threats forcing broadcasters to evacuate their buildings and temporarily suspend live programming. The threatening messages reportedly warned that time was running out, prompting security precautions at multiple media organizations.

According to the report, the threats were sent to Ireland’s public broadcaster RTÉ, Britain’s Sky and Bulgaria’s private broadcaster Nova TV, among other locations.

Following the warnings, journalists and other staff members were evacuated from the affected buildings. Some programmes were taken off air, while broadcasters switched to previously recorded content.

RTÉ replaced its regular programming with pre-recorded shows while security checks were carried out. However, no explosive device was found at any of the reported affected locations.

The incidents created disruption for news organisations and raised security concerns among media employees. Authorities and security teams took precautionary measures to examine the threats and ensure the safety of staff members.

The report also mentioned that several flights across Europe received fresh bomb threats, adding to the security concerns on Friday. However, it did not provide details about the airlines, airports or number of flights affected.
