Jaswinder, wife of Amritpal Singh, completed the 42.2-kilometre marathon in five hours and 29 minutes. She has been living abroad for some time and is a mother of two daughters.
Her achievement has drawn attention to her determination and participation in long-distance running. By completing the full marathon, she has represented Tanda on an international sporting platform.
The event also had a family connection, as Jaswinder’s daughter, Ableen Kaur, and her mother-in-law, Varinder Kaur, also participated in the marathon.
