Ropar: Former Union Minister and BJP MP Anurag Thakur criticised the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party during his visit to IIT Ropar in Punjab.
Taking a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his visit to Punjab, Thakur said that wherever Gandhi goes, the BJP’s victory is certain.
Thakur also criticised the AAP government in Punjab, alleging that it had turned the state into a place filled with drugs. His remarks targeted the ruling party’s handling of the drug problem in the state.
The BJP MP’s comments came during his visit to the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. He used the occasion to attack both opposition parties, making political remarks about Congress and the AAP.
Thakur’s statement regarding Rahul Gandhi was a political jibe, while his allegation against the AAP focused on the issue of drug abuse in Punjab.
