New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended Diwali greetings to people across the country through a video reel shared on his Instagram account. In his festive message, he said he would celebrate the festival with soldiers, continuing a practice he has followed in previous years.
Modi said he would spend Diwali among members of the armed forces. However, he did not disclose the location where he plans to celebrate the festival with the troops.
The Prime Minister’s message highlighted his intention to mark the occasion alongside soldiers serving the country. His annual Diwali visits to military personnel have attracted public attention in previous years.
Last year, Modi visited INS Vikrant, India’s aircraft carrier, during the Diwali period. This year, the exact location of his celebration with the armed forces has not yet been announced.
The Instagram reel accompanied his greetings to citizens on the occasion of Diwali.
