Under the proposed plan, the organisation’s existing 11 regions would be reduced to nine. The current 46 provinces would be replaced by approximately 90 divisions, marking a significant change in its administrative framework.
For the first time, the RSS is also expected to establish state-level organisational units. These units would include only the state pracharak and the state karyavah, according to the information provided. The proposed arrangement would discontinue the position of state sanghchalak under the new structure.
The organisational changes are expected to be discussed during the annual meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal (ABKM), the RSS’s all-India executive body. The three-day meeting is scheduled to take place in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, from November 2 to 4.
Apart from organisational restructuring, the meeting will discuss activities planned for the organisation’s centenary year. Participants are also expected to deliberate on national and international issues.
The proposed changes could reshape how the RSS coordinates its activities across states and regions. However, the details presented remain part of the reported plan, and the final organisational decisions are expected to emerge through the meeting and subsequent announcements.
